And “The Commercial of the Year goes to (big drum-roll) Nike – for “Earl and Tiger”

Tiger Woods is set to tee off tomorrow afternoon at the Masters and Nike couldn’t have picked better timing to unveil the new ad. Unfortunately for Tiger Woods, the National Enquirer has also chosen to tee off on him as they release a new report linking Tiger to a 22-year-old neighbor’s daughter, Raychel Coudriet.

The shocking aspect of the Nike ad, however, is that it uses the pre-recorded voice of Earl Woods. Earl Woods passed away in 2006.

More about Nike and Tiger…Do you remember Tiger Wood’s Press Conference? Well, the lady sitting in the front row with his mama…the one crying…that was the Nike representative. Wow, now that is what I call an integrated brand experience!
